!!! Mealey's has closed as of 3/4/09 !!! The new owner had no restaurant experience, so I think thatâs the reason it has gone down hill! I had my first job at Mealeyâs and enjoyed it very much! Back then the food was great and service was fantastic! Iâm sorry to see Mealeyâs close, but hopefully someone will purchase it and keep it going.
Overpriced, understaffed and poorly managed. Went there for a special Valentine's weekend dinner and was greatly disappointed. The poor waitress was definitely overworked and only one bartender on a Friday night, come on! The food came out cold or over cooked- more a reflection that the kitchen was short-staffed than a comment on the waitress, I suspect. I think the restaurant has the potential to be good and I've heard it had a more illustrious past...they just need to get it together.
First trip here under new management. The food is good but not great. The prices have increased. For groups of 8 or more they add a 20% gratuity.
The seafood buffet on Wednesday night looked good with a lot of variety, but again is a bit pricey ($37.50 + tip + tax).
The service good but it took a very long time to get our food. They may be a bit understaffed.
