Brew River has changed in the last few months. The new Kitchen Manager, who is now the General Manager, has done a great job revamping the menu AND the foods. Most of the food is made fresh; no more frozen, canned or otherwise. New items, great flavors! For the most part, the staff is friendly and eager to serve. I would say if you haven't given them a chance recently, try them now!
bad service..too slow: seafood is better at Cheseapeake Treasures around the corner..only good thing is the coconut Muffins and house honey mustard..It went way downhill when The Pub closed down and this place opened..too expensive..Mr. Hanna didn't follow through with his offers of offering us another meal in replace of the one that turned out awful for my family. They for the most part don't care about the customer..just his money! It is hit or miss here folks! That Sysco precooked Prime Rib on special during the week is mostly all fat! Serves are not friendly. There are a few that are ok!
This place isn't as bad as people make it out to be. I live in salisbury and I visit this place on Sundays during football season. Brew has awesome football deals... 5$ wings, shrimp, burgers, and 1.50$ draft beers during games.
During the summer.. the deck bar is always full on warm nights.. lots of eye candy from the university.
The place needs to be remodeled, but overall it is not a bad place to get something to eat and have a few beers. I don't visit much in the winter, but in the summer the deck bar is nice. There are not many deck bars in Salisbury. Too bad the Wicomico River that the bar sits on is polluted horribly with trash.
