User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsNot so great: The Chesapeake Inn has become completely overrated. The food and drinks are way over priced and not worth the headache of the crowd. Also, many people from out of the area come there and lose all their manners, becoming beligerent drunks and completely disrespectful. The restaurant across the canal has not been open for some time and this restaurant believes they have a monopoly on the whole area so they are overprice and hire individuals with no experience. Totally not worth your time or money!!!! There are plenty of great water view restaurants in Cecil County with great food, great atmosphere and respect for their customers.
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsChesapeake Inn: I hate to disagree but my family & I did not enjoy our formal dining experience at Chesapeake Inn. I made reservations emphasizing that it was for a small birthday dinner, and although the restaurant was not crowded, we were given a table too small for a party of four (also with a blocked view of the water) . Our waiter, when he wasn't making rude, off the cuff remarks about wanting to be a gynecologist, was absent. The food was nothing special and not at all worth the ridiculous prices. All in all it was a terrible dining experience and we will never be back.

Great Restaurant: My wife and I have gone here 2-3 times each year for the past 4-5 years and eaten in the formal dining area. The food and service has always been extremelly good. We would like to hear Darryl(sp) a little more, he seems to spend a lot of time at the bar.
