Cannolis

Drove by this place a few times and finally decided to stop in, as the location is good and looks cute from the outside. Inside matched the cute outside decor.
However, the meal itself was bland - at best. While the staff was friendly, it could in no way make up for the disappointing food. We chose to sit by the window. Garlic bread with cheese was loaded with garlic, a bit much for my taste. I ordered the shrimp, brocolli and ziti in alfredo sauce. I think their term "sauce" was rather misleading - it was more like milk. It was incredibly watery, so while the food itself seemed decent, the sauce, or lack thereof,made for a completely wasted meal. I'm used to alfredo sauce being thick, rich and creamy, and if I'm paying for it at an Italian restaurant, it should be tasty - not tasteless. None of the "sauce" was sticking to my shrimp, brocolli or ziti. My boyfriend ordered the lasagna, and sadly it too was made with watery sauce.
There are a lot of other restaurant choices in the area for similar food options that we're most likely not going to go back here. Unless we hear their food has changed for the better.

Love this place. Right along Whitman's pond the view is beautiful. This restaurant is clean and people friendly. The staff is very nice. Maybe it's the economy but Cannolis has wonderful dishes at resonable prices. Come on people of Weymouth. What is the deal? Is the place to classy for you? I will come to this place every week because it is a Gem. The best restaurant in all of Weymouth!
