Finally made it to Pomodoros this past weekend. I've been looking for the perfect NY style pizza and up until now I have been going to Tony's at Fair Lakes. In my opinion I would say Pomodoros and Tony's are about tied as far and taste of pizza, ratio of sauce to cheese, and foldability. Tony's large pizza (16") is $11.50; Pomodoro's is an (18") pizza and is $11.75, plus they have an online coupon for $2.50 off a pizza.
We each got a steak and cheese sub also....Tony's by far is much better...no comparison.
While I have never had a problem with the friendliness of Tony's, I see that some people have had problems. My experience at Pomodoro's was excellent. The person that waited on us was extremely friendly...you have to go to your table, decide what you want, then go up and order it, they call you when it's ready.
The atmosphere at Pomodoro's was much, much better than Tony's. Tony's seems a little chaotic to me, whereas Pomodoro's is more relaxed. The only downfall with Pomodoros was the phone ringing for orders. I would turn the ringer down or make it so that it rings in the persons ear that is answering it, not so everyone can hear it.
We will probably continue to go to Tony's since we usually get a sub and a pizza. 
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsHaving recently moved to the area from Chicago, I have tried nearly all the restaurants in this area. I have 3 young children and I can honestly can I feel most comfortable and welcome only when I go to Pomodoro. They are very friendly and go out of their way to make customers happy. The food is delicious and fresh. And you can get coupons from their website to print!
