I am truly lucky that I am close to Tiffany's 2 locations in Falls Church and Annandale. I have brought my daughter's birthday cakes there for years. I also take cakes into the office for all sorts of celebrations. I am asked almost monthly about the name and location of this bakery from colleagues, who go out of their way to purchase from this bakery.
It is a family run business and I would rather support hard working individuals who are providing a wonderful service to the community, than a big grocery store chain that has less than desirable cakes. The customer service is wonderful - whether or not your speak Spanish or not.
Its a shame that a few "Americas" still have an issue with people that are not completely fluent. I would like to see them move to another country and be completely fluent overnight.
Either way, the cakes are out of this world and 1 pitiful person should not stop you from experiencing them.
Awful experience, poor customer service, and very poor understanding of english. I asked for a chocolate cake with a butter cream chocolate frosting. I said it 4 times to help insure no misunderstanding to the counter lady.
Mistake 1. They tried to write H.B. on the cake instead of Happy Birthday. I shamed them into correcting it.
Mistake 2. The cake turned out to be a Liquor Cake, which is highly unappropriate for children and it came as a big suprise to everyone.
Mistake 3. Called the manager to express the misunderstanding and left a message for him to get back to me. The manager never called back.
They don't care about customer service on top of their poor understanding of English.
Summary: Go to someone else who understands english and sincerely appreciates your business.
I refuse to eat or buy my cakes elsewhere. I have yet to taste a better cake then theirs. They have the best pastries and cakes in town.
