    I have used NVRPA for company events in the past and have always had a pleasant experience. However, today I called to request to move our picnic shelter reservation to another day due to inclement weather and was basically told that there was nothing they could do. I just wasted $140 to reserve a space for today that I cannot use (unless I want to grill and picnic in the pouring rain). If I want to reserve another day I have to pay another $140. No refunds, no leniency, no nothing.
    Apparently, their policy says that I have to call at least TEN DAYS in advance to change the date. Even the meteorologist doesn't know what the weather is going to do in ten days!! I can't believe they won't let me move to another day. I will never have another event at one of their parks again because of this policy.
    Be warned, you can't even read their reservation policy on the website until after you make the reservation. So ridiculous.
