User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsFabulous dining experience! The decor of the restaurant invites you to an intimate atmosphere, perfect for a romantic evening or a night out with close friends. The food is excellent and stands up to all its ratings. The focaccia like bread to start with was delicious and light. The quality and quantity are excellent. The wine selection offers you choices other than the usual Malbec or Merlot and the glass is poured generously to have sips to the end of your meal. The salmon and rainbow trout are prepared to perfection with a delicate crust and soft texture in savory sauces. Your plate is accompanied with surprise to beautiful thinly sliced zuchinni prepared in olive oil, green beans, herbed potatoes, and ohh what a surprise, a decadent poached pear in wine with a hint of cinnamon. Do try their desserts - they prepare by tableside a banana rum ice cream dessert. The rum is heated fresh and gracely poured over the bananas, vanilla ice cream, and pecans. The creme brulee is perfectly light and not too sweet. Finish off your evening with a glass of port - they have a great selection.
This restaurant keeps you coming back for more. Can't wait to dine again!-

Visit Cafe Renaissance for the best French cuisine in Vienna and nearby areas. The owners are always present and always ready to listen to patrons. Chef Ocean also appears in the dining room to greet patrons and hear their feedback and suggestions. This is so important in enhancing the dining experience.
The service is perfection, matching the food, beverages, and ambience.
Ask for the short list of specials to taste innovative and delicious dishes.
Go once to try it out -- you will return again and again, because the standards remain superior in all respects. -

I love this place. Please do not bring the kids - it would ruin the atmosphere, especially since the place is fairly small. Although the menu is wonderful, I suggest ordering the Steak Dianne prepared flaming tableside. I can't say that I have had anything that I didn't like there. Good for a romantic dinner. Dress up a bit to fit the atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable for the level of service, the items on the menu and the quality of the food. MaIn this area many places are about 20 to 30% higher for food that is not quite as good.
