Sunflower Vegetarian Restaurant

I'm not a vegetarian nor is my husband, but decided to give it a shot after reading all the great reviews. We picked up take-out, so I don't know about the decor or ambiance, but the food was excellent! I had to General Tso's Surprise and my husband had the Peace and Harmony. So good, large portions (had the rest for lunch the next day) and inexpensive. We will definitely be eating here again.

My friend took me there after we biked. The ambiance is very nice, and the owners are there with a smile on their face. They ordered the General Tso's and I ordered the Thai Tom Kay (I hope I spelled that correctly) soup. It was amazing. I couldn't stop eating it. The noodles were just right, the soup was limey, and the tofu on top tasted like meat. It definitely did the trick after the cycling that we had done earlier that day.

The service was impeccable, and I was thinking what other veggie dishes I wanted to try when I came the next time. A definite gem.

I've taken so many of my friends over there (majority are hard-core meat-eaters) and they have now proclaimed Sunflower to be one of their top restaurants to go to....

I love coming here because the food is always good and it's service is great...if you have a chance to try it, you won't be dissatisfied...
