Still scamming people...: Service department over-charging customers, not performing requested services... I asked for a 60K maintence package which lists for over $700, and I wanted the old spark plugs (Premium $5 each x 8 plugs) even told the service advisor who wrote the reqest on the order, finally after work completed they called me and tried to get me to do additional cosmetic work like replace the headlight switch cover - which just needed super glue to hold it from sliding off... which i told me no thanks - but said they may go ahead and order a door bolt for the back door as I had lost one during a speaker install...
Lustine Dodge charged me for the install a bolt; which they did install, performed a 30K maintence service at the same price, and never gave me my old spark plugs back as I requested... billing me over $1000 for the work!!!
Buyer Beware: In March of 2006 we decided to purchase a second vehicle. My husband is a Dodge fan so we looked and finally decided on a ram 1500 with a king cab so that we would have room for the whole family. My husband credit is less then perfect. We explained to the loan officer that we would not , did not, could not have a co-signer for the truck that we wanted to get credit on our own. he told that was fine he understood, NO CO-SIGNER.
when my husband started to sign he noticed that the price he remembered seeing on the window sticker was different then he remembered but hey maybe he made a mistake. My husband signed the contract we took the truck home. Yet we could not find the window sticker... may be I am wrong I thought that it was to stay with the vehicle.
Lustine called and told us to bring the customer satisfaction survey to them for a free tank of gas. Okay fine we were somewhat happy with the whole buying experience. the window sticker kind of miffed us , but I told them when they called could they get the window sticker for us. "Sure no problem. I get it off the internet.'
well the "sticker" came but I really was getting concerned the price was blocked out when they made a copy.
The salesman called us again and again for the survey. So they would call my husband's cell home and just say please call us. These calls came at difficult times for his work schedule so I called for him. "Sorry ma-am I can only talk to your husband he is the one that signed." No problem I said I understand.
We had that truck for about two weeks when we got a call one evening from a repo man (the first payment was not due for another month.)
I talked briefly with him and then called my husband at work. when all was said and done the loan officer told my husband that the "deal" depended on a CO-SIGNER and since he failed to provide one as promise the bank wanted the truck back.
They are liars and cheats, they lost the Saturn franchise due to their business mishandling
So know we drive a Chevy
