Springfield Butcher

My family has been going here since the mid 80's and it is a great butcher shop. The staff has never been anything but polite and helpful!! Great cuts of meat at great prices! Plus what other butcher shop has such a sweet collection of football jerseys!!

I called to check on the prices of their lamb as I had heard good things about them and read their reviews. The gentleman on the phone was rude, did not want to take the time to speak with me, told me their store hours and that was it. I hung up without even a good bye, if that is the type of service you get on the phone I do not even expect good service once I get in there!!!!

I took a deer to get processed and got my meat back full of hair and dirt. I had to repackage the meat to freeze it and the meat that was already frozen from the butcher was freezer burnt.

I also asked for jerkey but got thinly sliced peices of meat for me to make the jerkey. It was not dried or seasoned or anything. If you are getting jerkey make sure you know what you are getting.
