to eat at our favorite place - Rio Grande Cafe. We love this establishment. The greeting is so very friendly, always will to seat you where we want to sit and very professional. Our waiter today was Lester, who we have had many other times. He is also the same courteous gentleman. He is patient, alway able to answer our questions and very attentive to our table. We love this place. We do our best to drive and have all summer long once a month. Don't change anything I have highly recommended you establishment to many around the area. User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsAs a transplanted Texan, I was hoping for a lot based upon the reviews I'd read, but found the restaurant to only be average. I much prefer El Paso Cafe down the street on Glebe.

Fajita el carbone.. delicias!
I don't know how they do it, but they have the best fajitas I have ever had, juicy chicken pieces.. yummm. The guac is fresh and the saupapillas, ah. They don't really need to put the cinnamon powder on them, but they still are the best I have had outside new mexico. The tortillas are the best ever! made fresh and fluffy on a machine in front of you. Another sign of authenticity, there are no burritos! This place really is a gem for great mexican food.
