Love this place...fresh delicious food, reasonable prices, exquisite. Great atmosphere, excellent service. Having some lively background music playing at the bar would be my only suggestion.
delicious! interesting menu, with imaginative pairings. fish was fresh and quality was fantastic. we started with a flatbread and it was HUGE. a tiny bit on the salty side, and a bit too much cheese, but we we satisfied. we also had a sizable salad as a great ap. dinner was even better, fresh, tasty, with LOTS of flavor. plus our waiter was helpful and pleasant. beautiful ambiance; a total pleasure for date night.
We had a great meal at Willow about six weeks ago and are going back next week - here is the review from a while ago:
The waiter greeted us warmly, was open about what he liked best and recommended a great Sangiovese from Altamura to accompany our main courses. Little missed a beat - gazpacho soup was a hit with three of us, the crab two ways with lime butter appetizer was also sublime. Followed with the specialty of the house - "miniature rack of pork" with a house made pork sausage and ham hock jus and others had halibut crusted with potatoes. All was good - rich flavor, great use of stocks and definitely seasoned well. Only slight hiccup was the mushroom flat bread we shared - too much cheese for my taste.
Don't know why this restaurant is so under the radar. Professional service, well executed, tasty food and a fairly priced wine list with lots of eclectic choices. What more does one want in a fine dining restaurant? Comparing this place to Boulevard Wood Grill is way off the mark. Wood Grill's menu and execution are at a whole different level than Willow. Wood Grill is a typical American grill with too many offerings and disinterested wait staff. Willow has an imaginative menu that was well executed - and a real restaurant ambiance.
Did not have anything approaching the experience of avhokie. - this was truly a great meal for all five of us!
