User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe just used Hollin Hall Bakery for our reception aboard the Odyssey Cruise and I am so glad we chose them. First, we went for the cake testing and it was a great experience. They gave us coffee and we got a huge slice of each cake they have on their menu and let us take the extra home. We chose the bavarian cream with fresh fruit - it was amazing!! We chose the cake design and I gave them a swatch of paper for the color. I was so happy with the cake - it looked amazing! Excatly what I asked for and the colors were spot on! This is a great bakery to use if you are looking for a wedding cake with beautiful design!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsTwo years ago, we had Hollin Hall create our wedding cake, and we are STILL getting rave reviews about it. Not only was is gorgeous, but the taste was DEVINE, and that is hard to come by in wedding cakes. We go back every year on our anniversary to get our own personal cake - needless to say, the top did not make it one year, we ate it before then! I would recommend Hollin Hall to anyone, but definitely for the bride who wants a great looking and tasting cake.

an elegant-looking pastry shop: Uneven. The best stollen around, good black and white mousse cake, but I was disappointed on two occasions when I bought tea breads that were about a day too old. Cookies are simply beautiful but are as tasty as I should think cardboard is. You cannot purchase bread here; this area is sorely lacking in bakeries that make good, quality bread, without driving down the parkway to Old Town.
