Thai Nakorn

Located off of Richmond Highway, it has become a favorite of Mt Vernon residents. The food is superb. I eat there at least once a week, and since Asian cuisine is among my favorite, this restaurant is at the top of my list. Not fancy but quite pleasant and comfortable with magazines to peruse or tv to gaze at while you're waiting. Excellent service, comfy booths topped with lovely Thai-print tablecloths. The server knows I like iced tea with plenty of ice, and since the first time there, she brings a pot of cold tea with a glass of fresh ice to replenish: thoughtful! The chef quite simply knows what she's doing. The weekday specials are very reasonably priced and are delish!
