A new person at our helpdesk (well semi-new) left a sticky note on my desk this morning when I came in, informing there would be happy hour after work at the Continental in Rosslyn. There are not a lot of places to go and get drinks in Rosslyn,. so I was curious to see this place. I'd seen it from the outside and it looked cool. A few of us walked down there a little after 5 and met up with a group of about 10 others. Slowly more came from both the other group and from my office. This place is so cool. Very eclectic design, loads of space and seating. 2 separate bar areas allow you to meet up anywhere there. There are a bunch of pool tables plus you can get different games to play. The overall atmosphere is relaxing and fun. This is not the place for everyone, definitely for a crowd from 21-36 maybe. Maybe a few years older, but I can't see 45+ people enjoying it. They have some drink and appetizer specialities. I drank beer against my better judgement, but I hadn't had it in a while. Overall, I say this place is very neat and I will definitely go again.
