User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI LOVE CHRIS COLLINS DANCE STUDIO!! I am on the company and have been dancing there for 8 years! I love it there. The teachers are supportive and nice and the students are awesome!! I couldn't be happier at any other dance studio! GO CCDS!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have to disagree with the previous poster. I have had a child at Chris Collins Dance Studio for 3 years, and could not be happier. The recital is increadibly professional, and very impressive. The teachers my daughter takes from (including the director) are so enthusiastic and energetic in what they are doing. I have not seen the director yell at any of the children during rehearsal or recital, but I have seen him frustrated with parents that do not think the rules apply to them. If the director was upset with the previous poster for any reason during the recital time, I can only assume it was warrented.
My dancing daughter can't wait for this year's recital in June!
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsKeep looking: My child danced at this studio last year and I was not to happy with it. Don't get me wrong most of the teachers are great and you can tell that they really love the kids and love dance. However the director is the one with the problem. You would never know that he has done this for 29 or 30 years (at that time). When rehearsal and recital time rolled around he totally looses it. Yelling at children and parents. In my opinion when you are in the business that long you should already know what to expect and know how to control yourself. I didn't like what I seen so I took my money and my child elsewhere and I am pleased to say this year during recital time the director showed self control and was very professional. So do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!!!!
