The staff is rude, the sandwiches are overpriced and there is never enough seating. It was tolerable until the staff made it so unpleasant to be a "regular" there I stopped going.
Take your money elsewhere.
Decent bagels/bagel sandwich though despite claiming to have a large variety of bagels, they were out and the choices were very limited. Be sure to arrive early, as it gets fairly crowded with the late breakfast crowd. The service was ok at best. I hope to return to see if things are looking up.....
I did not witness any bugs crawling around the floor, but will take note for my future visit.
Wonderful Service: Living in Arlington, I get to experience great little shops like Brooklyn Bagel regularly. So, when it was my turn to bring in breakfast items for the school I teach at, in Leesburg, I thought "What a great treat!" I called ahead to order 3 dozen bagels, to be picked up at 6am. I was told that they don't open until 6:30am (what??!! a bagel shop opening so late??!!), but was told that they would let me in early so I could get to work on time :)
I walked in at 6:15ish, and was out shortly after, with fresh, hot bagels (which were STILL hot an hour later in Leesburg, and freshly brewed coffee. All the food was great, but people kept raving about the taste, freshness, and yumminess of the bagels (and the coffee).
Having said that, I paid $80 for 3 doz bagels, 3 containers of cream cheese, and 2 large boxes of coffee (and a soda for me)....little pricy. They only take cash and checks too....which I didn't know until after everything was cut, bagged and poured. I probably should have been told that either when I called to preorder that much food, or when I got there.
Overall, a great experience. Great food, Great coffee, fabulous customer service...that left my wallet empty.
