Simply, the best place ever for car repairs. Very nice people, very knowledgeable about their job. I take my car there and never had any problem. Honest and fast and they always deliver the best service. I recommend it for everybody.

Six weeks ago, I dropped my truck off at K&B for a tire rotation and b'cos my engine didn't sound right. I got a call later from Tom saying I had to pay for a part that releases my tire b'cos it broke ($80)and that the engine noise was due to a falty piston which was normal and to just keep driving the vehicle as it wast. He charged me $225 for a part he broke and a tire rotation and I left out of there with the same major problem I had when I got there.

In the meantime, my truck still sounded like crap! After about 2 weeks of driving it, based on his recommendation, I decided to take it in to Meineke for a second opinion and on the first check, they found that the engine noise was because there WAS NO OIL IN THE ENGINE!!! Tom at K&B was so incompetent that they didn't even check for oil!!!

My question is, how was he able to determine that it was a piston problem without even checking the engine or oil? I almost detroyed my car as a consequence. I also had to pay for something that HE broke on my car and had the nerve to charge me another $45 to install the part!!!!!

Needless to say, it cost me another $110 to have the engine flushed in hopes that the engine was not destroyed.

Don't let Tom's nice nature fool you.. they will overcharge you for little to no work done. I have currently reported this to the Better Business Bureau

I don't have anything but good things to say about this mechanic shop. They are fast and honest workers. I take all my company vehicles there and have had NO complaints at all. (Mind you thats 30+ vehicles) I also bring in my personal vehicles and have no problems with the work done. It is hard to find a honest and caring mechanic these days but K&B Auto is one of the few that are still around! I highly recommend these guys for any type of work for your vehicles.
