My wife took her van in for a timing belt replacement. They charged her over $1,200. They replaced the water pump as well, but when I itemized their repairs with another dealer they are over 50% more. The coupons they send in the mail are worthless and just a method to get you in the door. They will find another costly repair or give you a reason why they can nt honor the coupon. We are in the market for another car, but I will not go near Rosner Toyota if though it is very close to my home. And..we have had electrical problems with the car since they repaired it. There is an expectation that you pay more for Toyota trained mechanics, but they are extraordinarly high.
Horrible over priced service. I won't go back. I like my Toyota, but Rosner is the worst, or should I say the best at gouging it's customers. $68.00 to rotate and balance 4 tires. Walmart does it for $30.00 with a trained technician.
The service department is getting worse since I purchased a Toyota at their dealership three years ago. The wait for service is longer, the prices for maintenance have increased and they are no longer competative with other dealerships, and they no longer offer incentives for loyal customers. Customer service is on the decline throughout their dealership. I get the impression they are doing me a favor by taking my car. I am taking my car elsewhere. Their close location is no longer worth the effort of putting up with lackluster attitude and less than average service.
