    I've been to kobe many times and my family and I have always had a good time dining there. As for the 18%, it's printed on the menu that parties of 5 or more will be charged the 18% gratuity. Most of the restaurants now adays automatically charge for large parties anyways... outback does it, even Sakura. I think sakura automatically chage you regardless of the number of people in your party.

    Although the food was good, they automatically charge 18% gratuity on their already high prices. A bit high for the service. The food is different from authentic Japanese cuisine. Much more Americanized.

    The food was ok...It was over priced and the service was horrible!! If your looking for a place like this, go to Sakura.
