The afternoon - Early evening staff and sometimes morning staff seem like they have a bug up their butt. They never seem friendly in person or on the phone and God forbid you need something they take their time getting to you and act like they have an issue helping you. It rained heavily one night and our room flooded, yes, an expensive hotel with a nice view overlooking the river and DC that doesn't have good enough sealant on the window to prevent rain from getting in. The rates are outrageous considering nothing is inclusive AND you have to pay $20 a night for parking (are you crazy?) You are better off getting a room here online somewhere as going to the front desk is probably 2x more expensive but if you don't have to stay here, don't. The only good thing I can say about this place is the view if you get a room overlooking the Potomac and the late night staff. This one woman was ALWAYS smiling and joking with us and she was very eager to help us and chit chat with us. I would walk into the lobby hoping I'd get to see her at the desk and was always disappointed when I didn't. My last note will be this, We had to go to the front desk about a dozen times because our key cards chose when they wanted to work. It would work once then you'd go out, come back in and you'd have to go get new cards because they didn't work anymore. You'd think a place like this would do MUCH better on the upkeep of the hotel.
