User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI've been to this restaurant multiple times and have always left well satisfied. The oysters rockefeller are awesome, the filet is always tasty and cooked just right. We were introduced to the cafe' diablo, and now can't celebrate a special occasion w/out one.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI visited Renato's for the first time tonight. I ordered the Pollo alla Ivana, described as chicken breast with asparagus, artichoke hearts, mozzarella, and a white wine sauce. The chicken breast was more like chicken "scallopini" and it wasn't a high quality meat. It was kind of like the questionable chicken you get at cheap Chinese restaurants. Not good. There were only two spears of asparagus (overcooked) and two small (canned) artichoke hearts covered in a "sauce" that tasted like canned chicken gravy. The cheese in the dish did not seem like real mozzarella. The dish was overpriced at $18. It came with an over-dressed house salad made of iceburg lettuce (the polyester of lettuce). The restaurant was outdated with wood paneling and mustard yellow walls. It was dirty and dingy with cobwebs in the corners. The staff wasn't friendly and our waiter was slovenly. I won't be going back....ever.

Renato's is one of the three best restaurants in Fredericksburg. Period.
