It has been one of the greatest places I have ever ate at. Took my Mother for her 74th birthday and she loved it! What a show and the food is tender and the light sauce is awesome! 2nd time I have been there and each time we get a different cook. each one has a different personality which makes it a unique experience! To enjoy the company or strangers and godo food makes a true evening of laughter, fun, and wonderful food! I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good time! and Wonderful food!
One of the best restaurants in Winchester. It is a Japanese grill style restaurant so the meal is prepared right before your eyes. The chefs are skillful though there is a great deal of variance between the performances. That being said the meal is served in three main courses. First is a simple broth that has a slightly salty after taste, though not at all unpleasant. Next is a simple salad with a dressing that is to die for. Ask as you may they will not give out the recipe. Finally the chef comes out and the game is on. After a several minute display of culinary dexterity the chef ignites the grill with a great ball of fire. Dinner consists of an appetizer (shrimp, mushrooms, or chicken liver), vegetable medley fried on the grill, fried rice completely cooked at the grill, and then your dinner choice. The pacing of the meal is solely at the discretion of the chef, and does vary. We've probably been to Ichiban a couple of dozen times and will continue to go for any special occasion we can muster up the money. They are a bit pricey for the Winchester area, but it is well worth every penny. For the more adventuresome both the sushi and sashimi are of excellent quality and preparation. Finally, no I do not own or manage the restaurant, my family just loves good food and a friendly atmosphere.
The best restaurant ever created.
Use the light colored seafood sauce---great stuff!!!
