    Very good American Italian food at reasonable prices. A nice family place. Our waitress was helpful, pleasant, and even though busy--found time for good service. In addition to dining indoors outdoor dining is available. The menu consists of all of the usual items one would expect in a neighborhood Italian restaurant.

    L'Italia of Port Republic Road rules supreme: What can I say? The staff at L'Italia is fanatical about customer service, always smiling, and ready to serve. The proprietor is a regular sight, overseeing his able staff, his presence demands top notch service, cuisine, and atmosphere.
    What you have here is a nice mix of family dining, along with the presence of a sports bar. In the back room, you'll find a big-screnn TV for your favorite game. Grab a brew and watch the big game with your buddies. It's not your regular sports bar though, it's kept under control by the staff, due to much of the patrons being James Madison University students, out to blow off some steam after diving into the books for the day.
    The quisine is simply delightful, demanding attention to detail and expert handling. Want a cheese steak that's out of this world? The Cheese Steak special is fantastic, and unrivaled by any other in Harrisonburg. I've tried them all. With a nice selection of appetizers, you have a menu filled with entree's that will suit the need for any pallate. Try the extraordinary Pizza, a Calzone, or a number of Pasta dishes. Oh, and don't be affraid to have it your way, The L'Italia staff is there to satisfy.
    Conveniently located on Port Republic Road, in the Food Lion Shopping Center, at the intersection of Neff avenue, L'Italia is THE source for true Italian delights and hometown atmosphere. Meet your buddies, take your family, or stop in for a lunch special. The staff will greet you warmly, with a smile, and they'll make sure you'll be back to experience them on another day.
