Outstanding, Outstanding, Absolutely wonderful. We stumbled across this restaurant during a recent trip, and were absolutely amazed. The pear with tomatoes and mozzarella was so delicious. The ravioli special was so decadent. Each ingredient was tasted. The service was wonderful, although we missed out on the singing, but then we were sitting outside! I cannot wait until our next visit through the area! 5 Stars all the way!
I love Violino's! The food is awesome. I went there for a special occasion and the owner sent champagne and came over and sang! I found it impressive that even though he was very busy and the restaurant was packed that he took a few minutes to acknowledge me and my special occasion; where else would someone do that for you? Yes, it is more upscale and therefore I know that I will pay more. If I wanted something less, I could go to a pub any time; but not for a special occasion.
Never go there on New Year s eve His food is terrible . This year he served wild boar for 100.00 a person The smell made you sick Then they charged 40.00pp for wine which we are not wine drinkers then also charged us for cocktails. We were a party of 7 after leaving there and spending 900.00 for the seven of us we went home and ate a turkey sandwich. Not to mention the man can't sing but you are caught there and have to listen to someone wanting to be a oprea singer and would be better singing in his shower!!! I will never return as this dinner was the biggest waste of money and ruined New Year Eve.
