    An Indian owner (Sheev?) took over this spot and have been turning out Indian food for over two years. It was recommended to us by the hotel staff and frankly we were surprised of the choice. We trekked over and were very pleasantly surprised. Each dish had a distinct flavor and reflects the owners northern Indian roots. We ate some samosas for starters and they tasted fresh and home made. The Tandoori chicken was tender and very flavorful and tasted as if they had actually been marinated! So many times the marinade seems to be bushed on at the lat minute. We forgot the name of the other chicken dish (Murgh Gorma?) which had slices of chicken filet in a bright red and creamy sauce. That was heavenly. The meal was topped off with some chai and rice pudding. We take weekend trips out in the Winchester/Martinsburg area monthly and are looking forward to eating at this excellent restaurant again and totally avoiding the chains.

    This is an Indian Restaurant. They have Vegetarian as well as meat dishes. This is by far the best Indian food I have ever had. It is superb. I highly recommend this for a special dinner or for any occasion.

    Wonderful Cuisine and Ambience: Wonderful cuisine and ambience. Good meat dishes, good vegetarian, too.
