    Good soul cookin' and burgers (I like the 8-oz burger). Sweet potato pie is great. Fried chicken, pork chop or rib sandwich, etc.. One of the few places in town where you can walk in after not showing up for a year and have the owner recognize you (or have him recognize you on the street!). Not the fastest if you are in a hurry, but if you want fast food, well, go get some fast food and stay away from one of the better secrets in town.

    Basic cookin': You might miss this place if you are not looking for it, but don't if you like regular food at a good price. I loved the liver and onions.
