User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsDon't let the car part store next door fool you. The cafe is a great find on that stretch of Route 29. When my wife and I travel to Lynchburg we always try to stop and get some fried oysters (our personal favorite). I highly recommend the cafe to anyone who is interested in unique, made from scratch food and a pleasant staff.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. A once great restaurant has gone to the dogs... and that's what it tastes like they're serving. Expect to pay high prices for low quality food. One redeeming quality is the very kind staff. Okay place to stop for a drink, but don't waste your time.

Jenn, your personal attacks are unfounded. It seems to me you were just upset with this establishment for some reason. I have been to the Lovingston Cafe and enjoyed a wonderful meal. You should be ashamed of yourself for Slandering this restaurant.
I agree with Jenn. When I was younger the Cafe used to be so yummy. I ate there at least 2 times a week. The past few years it seems they have been on a steady decline. The food is sub-par, and that's being kind. The only redeeming quality they had was their breakfast buffet, which they have since stopped. I will not be going back there anytime in the near future.
