User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest Pizza in Richmond: Displaced Yankees - Keep the faith. You can get a great New York Style Pizza, done perfectly, in... Highland Springs! I know, that's an OxyMoron (heart of the confederacy and all), but it's true. Antonio himself is frequently there making your pizza. These pizzas are perfect 10's. You aren't shorting yourself if you just get the cheese pizza. It is the perfect crispy/floppy combination found in the best pizza joints in New York City.
If you feel bold, the sausage/mushroom pizza is loaded with topiings, and the sausage slices are perfectly seasoned. You can't go wrong in this place... Unless you want to have a beer with your pizza. If that's the case, it's strictly a take-out joint. It's an OK place to take a date, if you just want to butter her up with the food. Ambience is lacking, with the checkerboard plastic table cloths, and TV blaring whatever is on.
But the Pizza... Oh... My... God!!! Order it, keep these guys in business, or I'll have to move back North.

The pizzas are incredible, all of the pasta dishes will knock your sox off, every single dish we've tried has been superb. We're in there 2 or 3 times a week. The staff is fantastic; warm & friendly - not just there to wait on us but they've become friends as well. Truly what a hometown place is all about & IT'S THE BEST!!!
