Jeb's Theatres: The theatres are clean, and they get you your tickets quickly. The line at the concession stand moves slowly, and always seems to be long.
Was Awful but slowly improving: We go to the movies a lot and yes, there were time when it was awful and managed poorly. Now they(the theater and police) seen to be doing a better job. I did notice thst the last time we were there the police we saw the police escort 3-4 teens out of the theater and redirect a group of 4 teens that ended up in a rated "R" movie insted of the rated "PG" film they paid for. On that note, they should have the rated "R" movies monitored better. In Northern Virginia, when the movie was over you exited through the doors into the parking lot..that way there WAS NOT REENTERING after the movie was over. I have suggested this to the management but you must realize that the managemnet and staff are infact teens themselves. Movie theaters have always been filled with teenagers, that seems to have always been a big hang out spot, even when we were kids. I know that teens have changed over the years but it is now up to society to take charge if the parents are not going to.
No supervision of Rude Teen Mobs: After looking forward to a Saturday night out with the hubby to see the movie Premonition..nothing could have been worse. Mobs of Teens buy tickets early in the evening and run from theater to theater all night being loud and obnoxious. Several people got up and reported this to the police officers working there and though warning this mob continued to disturb everyone throughout the movie. With one ticket taker for all the different theater rooms this is an invitation for such chaos. We asked for a manager after the movie was over and after waiting almost 20 mins to no avail figure there probably wasn't even one around. It was the worst movie experience ever. The management need to take control of this problem. How about stamping the kids for their movie and making them leave when it is over instead of moving from movie to movie playing and goofing around.
