User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGreat food, good service and there prices havn't gone up in three years! So a family of four can eat out without needing to take a second morgage out on their house..Even though it's a family restaurant, there is a big selection of beer and the best margaritas! We stopped in after going to the river,couldn't go to a "fancy" place so Hot Tamale it was, very casual.

This is the best Mexican place around. We go almost weekly- the food is great, the place is clean and the staff is so nice.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat Tex Mex: I'm from Texas, and we had a hard time finding good Tex Mex, but this place is it. It's a stand alone place but is probably the best in town. Mexico is good and there is one across the street, but Hot Tamale is just a little bit better. The food seems more authentic.
