User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsSubstandard room for a Marriott: The location is a bit hard to find, it's down a side road behind a bunch of office park/retail/auto dealer locations. Even when I called the desk staff, they couldn't give me good directions.
The room was not good. First, they only have a privacy curtain on the window and then one of those mock "real" curtains. This is the kind that is permanently set so it's open about 3/4 of the way and you cannot close them all the way. This allowed the light from the streelamps in the parking lot to flood the room; not very good for sleeping.
Also, among the samples of shampoo, lotion, etc., was a USED bottle of mouthwash! The seal was open and some of it had been used. That was a gross sight to see.
The rest of the hotel seems decent, well kept, etc. But, I would recommend you try elsewhere in Richmond. I would hope there are better places to stay not too far from this one.
