The Servers Make the meal... or Ruin it: We've gone here several times, hoping that we just had bad luck with the Servers. it's just impossible to get good service here. Cold food, uncaring attitude, long waits, wrong/late drink orders we've experienced them all at the one in Mechanicsville. Why they stink so bad, but the one at Glen Allen is so good, is entirely the fault of management. I like Tuesday's food, especially the mini-burgers, but we drive the extra 15 minutes to avoid this one.

Will never go back: On Sunday, August 13, 2006 at 3:00 pm my wife and I had been sitting at our table for more than five minutes and had not yet had our drink order been taken, much less been greeted by our server. When a server in an adjoining seating area noticed that we had not yet been greeted by our server, she said that she would get him. Approximately two minutes later she appeared from the kitchen with another server, and they both looked in our direction, so I figured he was coming our way. He walked near us, but only to pick up some napkins to deliver to another table. At this point in time another couple was seated in the table directly behind us by the hostess. Once the male server made his napkin delivery, he was walking toward our table and I thought, "Finally, now we'll be greeted and have our drink order taken." But the server walked past us to the couple that had just been seated behind us. The other couple were apparently friends of his who he greeted wholeheartedly, and he proceeded to take their drink order. At this point, my wife and I got up and left. On the way out I saw the manager by the salad bar and told him what happened. He stated that he would take care of us, but I refused and told him that I would take our business elsewhere. My wife noted that we had been in the restaurant for ten minutes and never got any service.
