User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat caramels! This is a REAL old-fashioned store with all the yummies that can no longer be found. Make no mistake about it, this is not a substitute for machine made drug store candy. This stuff is impossible to get anywhere else. If you're looking for something worthwhile and different, go to Velatis and meet the owners. If you're lucky, they'll even give you some free samples....but then you're hooked for life.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsDivine memories!: Velati's holds a special place in my heart ( & tastebuds!) since childhood. Of all the delicious tidbits I've tasted in my nearly 69 yrs., none will ever compare to the distinct pleasure of savoring Velati's sugary caramels. Growing up in Richmond & Arlington, I have not discovered such a delicacy anywhere else that I have traveled/lived. You must try them to experience Heaven on earth! As Shakespeare would have said, "'Tis a consummation devoutly to be wished!."
