User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsWill go back for the food, but not for our waiter!: Although I can't say I'm a regular, I have been to Casa Grande A LOT at many different locations in the Richmond area. The one on Brook Road is convenient since I like to do my shopping at VCC and Target (next door). I enjoyed the food, but have not been all that impressed with the wait staff. My experiences have not been very friendly. Today our waiter barely looked us in the eye, almost appearing as if he wasn't paying attention. Apparently he wasn't, as he brought us sour cream when we ordered guacamole dip. We ordered chicken salad, and he forgot to bring dressing. (He hadn't even asked what kind we wanted). But, on a more positive note, the food was delicious!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGotta be a regular!!: I AM a regular!! My husband, Tim, & I go there almost every Friday night & sometimes on Sundays (and Tuesdays or Wednesdays). Their food is the best, they welcome changes to the menu (I order any chicken dish with grilled chicken and taco salads with shrimp) , and their margaritas are to die for!! All the staff is very friendly. Our regular bar tender, Fernando, is the BEST!! Nancy
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsCasa Grande: I have eaten at just about every Mexican restaurant in Richmond, but I always come back to Casa Grande. The food is delicious and it always hot! You always get plenty of food for your money. I usually get the Steak Mexicano (Most of the time I have to get a to go box) The chips and melted white cheese are perfect together. The servers are friendly, attentive and quick. Last, but certainly not least, I would like to talk about the margaritas at Casa Grande. The are the best that I have had at any restaurant BAR NONE! The drinks are sweet and sour, and taste absolutely delicious. They pack a nice, giggle inducing punch without being "liquory"
The only negative thing I have to report about this restaurant would be the wait time on peak business nights. It's a very popular place on Friday nights and having to wait for seating becomes nearly unbearable when you can smell the delicious foods being prepared in the kitchen. Be forwarned, if this is a place you want to try on Friday nights, get there early!
