User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI am glad to hear this. I have gone to Abingdon in the years past and have been very disappointed with everything about the place. Nice to know there's still a good Vet in Gloucester.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOutstanding knowledge and personal service. I went through 5 vets in 4 years in VA Beach. They were all trying to up sell me products and services. Not until near the end of that 4 years did I stumble across one who was competent.
In talking with Dr.s Stiff outside of their office environment they knew their stuff and didn't try and sell me anything. When my boxers needed treatment, it was a non brainer - I took them to Animal Care of Gloucester and the same levels of excellence continued.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest Vet in Gloucester! I had the pleasure of visiting them for the first time today. Honestly, from the person who answered the phone to the lady cleaning up, everyone is so kind and caring. I took both of my girls 16 week old lab and 11 year old golden. My pup is in perfect health but my senior has health issues with her hips and cysts/boils. The big fancy "Vet Hospital" in Gloucester just said no big deal and charged me $32 to drain each cyst. Well there were 4 of them, plus office visit and a prescription for her hips that didn't even work. I rescued my senior 4 months ago and she came to me with these problems, but the other vet didn't explain anything to me. However Animal Care of Gloucester explained everything to me in detail and ran tests to check and see if these cysts were truly nothing. They were so patient with me and yes my unruly lab puppy. There cost was only a fraction of what I was charged at the other vets. Please give them a try!!!! They really are great!
