User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsNot so exciting: The County Seat has character, but really lacks a creative menu. Southern food, with the abundant number of farms in the area, should feature fresh vegetables, not soggy canned food.
The value depends on how much you like to eat. I find if I'm really hungry I need to order a side plate of a sandwich, so it doesn't wind up being as inexpensive as one would first think.-

Since this review in 2005 we have added many new and exiting specials to our daily menu. We have also been featuring local grown produce in additon to our ever so popular canned but well seasoned green beans.
