Easily some of the BEST Chinese food I have ever eaten!
Poor service: A group of 5 of us went out for lunch and ordered from the menu. One of our group ordered the Egg-Drop Soup and it arrived cold. Also, we asked for extra sauce for the Seafood Delight and it was not brought out. The fried rice was cold. The waiter was rude and short tempered with us. When told the rice was cold, the waiter and manager said it was because it was cold outside. We finished our meal but decided because of the service that we would not lave a tip. We found out that they added a tip to the end of our bill. We asked for the tip to be taken off and both the manager and waiter continue to berate us and call us cheap. I do not wish to go there again.
Peking Pavilion defines great Chinese food!: Being that I presently do not live in Richmond, I've had to find other Chinese food places to sate my appetite when I crave this particular cuisine, and let me tell you...I am hard-pressed to find a place as good as Peking! I was first introduced to this place about 4 years ago by a college roommate, and have been in love with it ever since. In Richmond's Shockoe Slip, it's in a great location that provides excellent ambiance inside and out for couples, friends, or family who are out to have a good time. If you park in the deck one block up, you can have your ticket validated by the restaurant and get your money back. The servers are very polite and provide a great level of service. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable as well; none of it tastes as if it was frozen or pre-packaged, but has more of a homemade taste. Everything is seasoned just right. Even the spirits are great...try a daiquiri! I have yet to try the Sunday brunch buffet, but I am sure it is just as excellent. If you are in Richmonder or happen to be in town, make sure you visit this place...I am sure you will return!

timemccormick. I have been a waitress in the past and you are the kind of person all wait-staff hate. If you were sitting outside then all of your food would get cold very quickly, In addition, you are cheap for wanting to take the tip off completely. If you don't want to tip, go pick up some drive-through...I've been to this restaurant many times and both the food and service were awsome.
