User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThe whole sushi experience in Richmond left town when the owner/sushi chef of Hana Zushi moved to California. The new chef and staff at hana zushi are the exact opposite of their predecessor, Horrible. I would not recommend anything from this restaurant. It's amazing how you can watch one chef teach another and then a week later the magic is gone. Well so am I.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI like to try sushi restaurants whenever I travel on business, so I'm never sure exactly what I'm going to get. I was not disappointed eating here. The food was some of the freshest I've had in a while. I ordered hamachi, smoked salmon and snapper nigiri along with a hana roll and swiss roll. Topping that off with sake made a great meal. For a Monday, there weren't a lot of people, four tables total, so service was fast and friendly. If you're on the fence about going, I recommend trying it.

I think the name has changed. This is the best place for sushi in Richmond without a doubt. If you love sushi then order the sushi lunch. Comes with soup, salad, 7 perfect pieces of sushi, one tuna roll and three pieces of california rolls. It's about 12 dollars but well worth the money. The service is excellent. Have not been there for dinner. Also beware their wasabi will make you cry. I LOVE IT.
