User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsD&M is always a must-do when I'm in Richmond. I've enjoyed every dinner I've had there. Even though I live in Tampa, I've introduced several Richmond residents to D&M and it's become a favorite of theirs.

Reasonable prices and best of all not a pepper mill in sight!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA Richmond MUST......: Being a born and raised Chicago restaurant scene food lover, I admit I am a bit of a food snob. When I judge a restaurant, I judge quality of taste first.....but a VERY close second and third, are atmosphere and aesthetics. I mean face it folks.....good food is well....Good. What makes food GREAT is the total experience! I came across Davis and Main in my travels and was blown away! It's in one of Richmond's most classic and diverse neighborhood's....small yet full of history. When you walk in you see pure class.....as you approach the bar at the back....you half expect someone to yell NORM!! That's the best way that I can describe it I guess.....a gourmet restaurant, in a historic building, with a bar where ANYBODY from yuppie to hippie is welcome....and at least when I've been there...the bartender always knows your name!
I live in Charlotte NC now...and I drive whenever I can the 4 hour trip to eat there!
