Sine is a favorite spot for executives to stop in for after-work drinks. The owners of Sine have gone to great lengths to create an authentic Irish pub in Shockoe Bottom. They have a few 'Irish' items on the menu, but it isn't a place to go if you are looking to get real Irish fare.

Be sure to eat before you go. 5pm is great for 35 and up gettin off work crowd. Fri Sat after 7pm is your drunk frat kid meat market. The bar staff shuffle like tim conway did on the carrol burnette show. (it's kinda entertaining). bands are always too loud and usually off key but i think thats just a "richmond thing"

I've eaten here twice while in the area on business. The first time, the food was excellent (Gaelic Steak), but the second time (same) wouldn't get me to return. The service was friendly both times. The atmosphere is, well, it's a bar with a restaurant and will meet your expectations in that regard. It's worth the visit if you're looking for something new.
