I will never order from Ever Green Again. They actually wanted me to come to the car to pick up a delivery and had the nerve to ask for a tip. When I ordered they were snippet and rude!
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsEvergreen: what a fiasco!: My co-workers and I tried to place an order with Evergreen. I decided to fax the order. It seemed easier than explaining everything over the phone. They don't always seem to understand.
After faxing, I called to confirm receipt. The clerk yelled "Yah!" when I asked. My co-worker also called and was also told "Yah!". So we waited.
And waited.
And waited....and waited....and waited.
For two hours, we waited. When we called a third time, we were told the fax machine was broken. Frustrated, we demanded to know why we were told that the fax had been received. Their response was unintelligible. My co-worker decided to place our dinner order to them verbally.
After my co-worker hung up told her that I no longer wanted my order. Dismayed, she called Evergreen about two minutes later to cancel. The same woman who answered before became enraged.
"You crazy!" the clerk screamed, adding "I already cook food." My co-worker told her this was absurd, since they had just hung up. The clerk's response was "Never call here again!" She was screaming so loud I could hear her from my desk a few feet away.
Here in Richmond, we have a choice when ordering Chinese food. We choose not to order from Evergreen.
We also work at a major downtown hotel. Believe me, Evergreen is not at the top of our recommendation list.Comments (1)

I actually KNOW who you are talking about. That lady is so rude, she needs to be fired! I order from this place a lot and my one complaint is this lady that you are talking about. The food is great, but the service- whoooeee, she is terrible.

What are you talking about? This restaurant hasn't even existed for 8 years, only about 3 or 4.

yeah what have you been eating?? their food is NASTY their place is so dirty and that lady is so rude the best down here is good taste on west grace.

Worst Service is Richmond, Va. STAY AWAY!! If you want to be treated with respect. Every call i have placed has been terrible.Food wasn't to bad but if the persons preparing don't care how they treat you they prob don't care of how they prepare the food.
