Body Shop: My Insurance company recommended this body shop. It is also where I purchased the truck.
However; this was worst body work I've ever seen. It was supposed to take 4 business days to fix, I wound up without my vehicle for 13 days. VERY Shoddy work! Even when I finally got it back 14 days later and after I'd been back 3 times, I still had to rewire my door speaker myself, and clean the overspray off the mud gaurd. This work was done about 14 months ago and the clearcoat has already worn off. When the work was done, there were areas on the door jamb that were not painted, bare metal even where sanding had been done but not painted. The rocker panel was repaired but I could still see the dent in it. The fender was not painted where it bolts to the car just under the hood, just the out of the box primer. The color is off just enough to stand out. The Tacoma emblem on the door was put on crooked. The jamb seal is now loose and the drivers window is not too tight when rolling it up and down.
I'm not sure what these technicians are taught, but the are certainly not the tradesman of the past. Most auto body technicians consider themselves artists to some degree.. Then take pride in the work. I hope Haley will rethink whatever training and requirements they have of their technicians.
Rude and unhelpful!: The sales rep was rude, pushy, and really open about how much he didn't want to have to spend time looking for the right Scion for me. He even went behind our backs to try to make a sale through my fiance's father without talking to us first. If you want good service go to McGeorge.
