You can't visit just once! The coffees were rich, strong and smooth as silk. Stopped in for lunch one afternoon and had the spinach salad with avocado and fire roasted pepper strips- I wasn't disappointed! I received a large salad with plenty of bacon, avocado, very fresh greens and a delicious fat free vinagrette. They were, surprisingly, open for breakfast on Easter morning and the Eggs Benedict were artfully prepared, poached perfectly with velvety sauce.
It's impossible to pass the dessert counter without craving a slice of something on display. I tried the coconut cake the first day. The enormous slice was fluffy and wonderful with a lemon curd filling; I can't believe I ate the whole thing!
The cranberry scones had a great texture, were tangy and slightly sweet and went perfect with the coffee. But wow- the OHMYGOD cake lived up to it's name!!! Raspberries, light as air buttercream and total melt in your mouth cake...just WOW!
The place itself was an experience with plenty of local art displayed throughout the restaurant. If you like historic buildings, the owners will explain the restorations- this place is simply beautiful!!! Service couldn't have been faster or more pleasant and they welcomed us like locals.

This is a DEFINITE stop to make on the eastern shore and well worth it!
