Been to this Olive Garden several times and every time been disappointed in the quality of service and food. One time I went they were out of olives and raspberry lemonade--that was hard to believe! The OG on Midlothian is much better and I only go to that one if I can help it.
It's a guilty pleasure since there are so many good Italian resataurants in Richmond. If you want local Italian at a good price try Joe's Inn or Robin Inn in the Fan.
Let me begin by saying I LOVE OLIVE GARDEN, I usually eat at one of the restaurants at least 2-3 times per week. But my experience with the Olive Garden on Broad St has been HORRIBLE!!!! I have gone there twice within one week and it was awful both times. The first time was the waitress, and I know things happen and eating at Olive Garden as often as I do, everyone knows we all have bad days (even though I was not the only one complaining this night, there were several). So my daughter and I went back the very next Friday for lunch, I order Chicken Alfredo, the chicken was so old you could not even cut it with a fork. I sent it back to the kitchen, the manager would not even come to our table (I guess she was embarrassed since she was the same manager that was there just a few nights before when we complained). Of course she took the meal off my ticket, but then wanted me to pay for the salad that came with the meal!!!! I give this restaurant a zero; I don't think she is managing the restaurant at the level that Olive Garden is famous for!!!!!! Olive
Garden does not have a reputation of being a bad restaurant, but if she continues to be the manager, she will ruin their reputation. As with any manager she should make sure the chief and the wait staff is on top of their jobs. I know this by being a restaurant manager myself, when something goes bad, it doesn't look bad on the employees it looks bad on the management.
