Our waitress, Trinny W's service was the worst we have ever received at an Olive Garden. We have been to many Olive Garden's all over the country and have never been treated so shabbily. She did not bring us plates! She did not bring us silverware! And told us that we would have to be charged for the complimentary salad if everyone in our party didn't order an entree! What we ordered was more than sufficient to feed our family and we actually had leftovers to take home. We got the sampler appetizer (3 different appetizers) and a large pizza (8 slices) which was an entree that we all could share (2 adults & 2 children). We've ordered the same thing many times before and gotten the big salad and breadsticks every time complimentary before our meal. Trinny W charged us $2.95 three times on our check for individual salads! I don't know if she is new and needs better training or was just having a bad night but I really wanted her superiors to know how badly she is treating your customers. Not only was she neglagent in providing us with plates and silverware but she also overcharged us on our check for salad that is supposed to be complimentary. Needless to say Trinny W received no tip from us! We will not be returning to the Olive Garden on Chesapeake Square Blvd. in Chesapeake, VA. Thank you, The Cole Family.
The best food have had and every time you go you can have a new entries off the menu to order and we never don't like the food they bring us.
Simply Marvelous: Olive Garden is a wonderful place to take your family and not be disappointed. The salad and breadsticks alone will keep you coming back. The pasta and seafood mixed with pasta is awesome. The frequently have special dishes they offer for a limted time. This gives you a chance to try something new on the menu that you don't get all the time. My whole family loves it.

Salad is not complimentary. If you order a meal you have the option of soup or salad. If someone doesn't get a meal, but wants to have salad, you are either charged for a full price salad for that person or you are charged $2.95 if you order an appetizer. Salads are not complimentary!
Amber is RIGHT! I'm a waiter at an OG and it never fails to amaze me that ppl actually think that they are going to come and eat salad for FREE! "I'm not going to order anything. I'm just going to have some of his/her salad." What!?!? Sweetheart, NOTHING (especially at at a restaurant) is FREE, except water, and some place charge a small fee (.25 cents) for that! Lets make this clear for everyone who will ever come into an OG ........ 1) Salad OR soup ONLY comes w/ an entree (including Kids Meals) 2) You get a choice of salad OR soup w/ your ENTREE (NOT BOTH!!!!!!!!!!) So, no, you don't get salad "anyways." If you want BOTH, you will get charged for an "add salad" or "add soup" (an extra $2.95) on your bill. ******Sometimes the waitstaff will not bother to deal w/ this issue, and just give you the damn salad, for this precise reason: they don't want to argue to try to clarify that hey...........salad/soup isn't free!!!!******** When food costs in the restaurant go up because of "free salad," managers start cracking down and auditing table checks to ensure that waiters are charging ppl properly! No waiter is willing to loose their job or get written-up simply because ppl expect free stuff!!!! Do you get free fries just because you order a burger and a drink at Burger King!? And just to let you know about bread sticks, plates,etc................... When we run out of that stuff (i.e. no bread ready, no clean plates, etc) that is a MANAGEMENT PROBLEM (i.e. they let the bread maker go home early to save $$$ on the payroll so now waiters have to make bread in addition to actually waiting on tables, or a lot of plates were broken and management simply didn't order more, so now we have no plates!!!) and you need to take your dissatisfaction up with them and not take it out on the waiter! Waiters get fed up w/ it just like the guests do!!!!!!!!!!!!
