User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsParty of two, weekday lunch. The food was great, I had the chicken salad sandwich and Hubby got the Dagwood. If you ever order that make sure you have two or more people to help you eat it! I would agree that this is not the cheapest place to eat and the place could use a couple passes with a pressure washer, but we will be going back. I am anxious to come for dinner on a night that there is entertainment.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy husband and I sometimes are looking for a cool place to go eat,hanging out and have great time and we found all three at the Jewish Mother. It was amazing to see eveytihng going on and I love that.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe'll be back!: Although the outside of the restaurant looks pretty bad and the inside decor isn't much better...the food was great! The Mother's chicken salad is wonderful! The steak and cheese was the most tender I've ever eaten. The french fries were great! The vegetable soup was fair but had a strong italian taste....in fact it almost tasted like spaghetti sauce. My daughter would highly recommend the strawberry milkshake! It was a very good meal and we will definitely go back again! However, it's not a cheap restaurant. In fact it was one of the more expensive meals we had at the beach...$38.00 for 3 sandwiches, soup and a shake...that's pretty high.
