On 4-28-2009 my husband and i had dinner at captain george seafood. We thought it was a very nice place to eat ! everything was clean looking and the food looked the best we had seen on the beach.but looks can be deciving !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not 20 min after eating i was so sick i thought i would die!!!if your smart get a room you can cook your own food because the beach is great but food here is not worth the money you pay and not worth being sick and runing your vacation!!

It takes a bit longer to feel the effects of food poisoning than 20 minutes, I am willing to bet it was something you had the day before

This was my first time at a seafood resturant, and my experience was bad. Capt. George's Seafood Resturant spoiled me for wanting to even attempt to try it again. My daughter and I were right at the buffet when they brought out a new pan of crab legs and when we got back to our table I thought it odd that the legs where not even luke warm. Tried to deal with it because of the price of the meal but could not. So tried a second trip to the buffet table to try deapfried part of it. Which was also cold. The three of us that was together did not finish any of our food. After all of this the manager was rude, did not compensate much of the bill, and did not appolgize for our situation, made excuses to the affect that we did eat there. After this experience I not sure if I will ever go to a seafood resturant again, or not one that charges $30.00 for all you can eat buffet for a hot meal, and gets one that is cold with hardly any taste.

On April 12, My family and myself had the pleasure of going to Captain George's for dinner to celebrating my daughter's 25th birthday. The dinner was wonderful and the waiter that we had was excellent. I would recommend this Captain George's to anyone.

Captains George's seafood Buffet was a unique and wonderful experience. When I entered the staff was all in blak and in nice attire, most vacationers were unawre of the nice attire rule but was no problem. Were i was seated was far from the buffet line and litterally a line to get to different foods. The cakes were dry and tasteless but the more fresh made desserts were top-notch. The food was the best in taste but not quality. Much had much flavor. This is high dining so don't be rude. very good place to eat. But a star off for the staffs atitude. Most were teens although many were kind and polite.
