User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsCogan's is absolutely the best pizza joint in the area!!! We go there for their awesome Margarita pizza and of course the wide selection of beer on tap. Never had a bad experience there although sometimes there is a wait for the food due to being extremely busy, but we have always been compensated for waiting be it a few free drinks or free appetizer. Very nice place to go hangout with friends and kick back on the patio when the weather is nice!!!

It's shocking to me how poorly (or rarely) rated this place has been the last few years. It's slammed ALL THE TIME, where are the reviews from the people that eat/drink there 4 times a week? I love it because there's something for everyone, unlike the Taphouse or Bier Garden in Portsmouth (completely uninviting to anyone outside the circle of beer snobs). There are 33 drafts (from PBR to Bud Lite to Dogfish Head to Belgian Tripels), 50 more bottles, cute waitresses, and they have the best pizza within 100 miles. They have a patio, which is amazing on warmer nights, decent music over the speakers, and a funky nostalgic decor. I'm writing this because there needs to be a good review here at the top, so people new to the area don't hang a sweet hangout's rep on a few bitter nails. I'll see you at $2 pint night (Tuesdays).

Best Pizza I have ever tasted. It's great. I'm a world traveller and can say that this place rocks. They have a great selection of beer but never seem to have Hoegarden beer from Belgium. It's that good. LOL. Great crust makes it for me. The dip and salads are also good.
